At Pivot Dance Studio we are proud that all our instructors are highly qualified in their field. Our team consists of State and Australian Dancesport Champions and Australian Dancesport Finalists.

All team members are highly motivated and enthusiastic in teaching you how to dance. Whether you just want to learn a few basic steps or want to learn something special for your first dance at your wedding. We are here to help you.

Michael Carey (Principal): Michael has been dancing for over 25 years and teaching Ballroom Dancing for 6 years. He is 2 x Australian Amateur Latin Champion as well as the Victorian Professional Latin Champion. Michael has travelled extensively overseas to further study dancing and to compete and has represented Australia internationally on several occasions.

Susan Porter: Susan has been Ballroom Dancing now for over 28 years. She has had numerous successes in her dancing career including the Australian Amateur New Vogue Champion. To teach dancing was a natural progression for Susan and she has been teaching a combination of competition, medal and social classes for 9 years.
